HISTORY
We are a Conference with diverse and dynamic congregations. Some of our member congregations were established in the 1800s, before either Kansas or Oklahoma became states, while others are newly formed.We are a multi-racial and multi-ethnic Conference embracing congregations from American Samoa, the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, as well as Pentecostal and European traditions. A number of congregations have identified themselves as Open and Affirming (welcoming persons of all sexual orientations).
Together we bear witness to the teaching of Scripture. We affirm that Christ has broken down the dividing wall (Ephesians 2:14). We are guided by the prayer of Jesus, "that they all may be one" (Gospel of John 17:21). This prayer is the motto of the United Church of Christ
STATEMENT OF MISSION
As people of the United Church of Christ, affirming our Statement of Faith, we seek within the Church Universal to participate in God's mission and to follow the way of the crucified and risen Christ.Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we are called and commit ourselves to:

- Hear and give voice to creation's cry for justice and peace;
- Name and confront the powers of evil within and among us;
- Repent our silence and complicity with the forces of chaos and death;
- Preach and teach with the power of the Living Word;
